University of Bristol A Cappella Society is a newly restructured society, stemming from the merger of two existing a cappella groups. We give absolutely anyone who wants to sing the chance to get involved in any of our groups, which include both auditioned and unauditioned groups.
We’re one of the biggest and most active BristolSU societies around, regularly putting on socials ranging from bar crawls, club nights, bowling, karaoke, trips to see other society performances and trips to see professional musicals. We’re also planning an a cappella ball this year! We have a number of groups available for you to join, such as (but not limited to) TUBBS A Cappella, our low-commitment unauditioned ensemble, and The Bristol Suspensions, an up-and-coming mixed auditioned group who’ve already taken on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe after only 1 year together!
Our groups put on several concerts a year, and we also organise joint a cappella showcases for all groups to show off what they’ve been up to in each term. Visit each group’s page to find out more about them!
All of our groups are available for booking at all kinds of events, including society balls, hall formals, charity concerts and more. Contact us to find out more about how you can book any of our groups for an event.
