Pitch Fight

Pitch Fight is Bristol’s 15-piece auditioned female and non-binary identifying a cappella group. We perform collegiate a cappella versions of anything from Macklemore to Katy Perry. We’re looking for strong singers or beatboxers who like to sing, dance and love to perform so come along and audition.

We rehearse for 5 hours a week but the group tend to spend a lot more time together just socialising in and out of the society, so be prepared for your world to turn into a real-life version of Pitch Perfect! We also don’t require the ability to read sheet music and are super excited to continue doing what we love next year – take a look at what we got up to this year!

• We perform at all sorts of events! We have been the supporting act at Clicendales (the medic charity strip show), performed at famous formals such as the Constitution Ball and the biggest a cappella event in the South – Best Of the South West (BOSW)!
• We compete in national and international competitions and intend to again this year!
• We have competed in the ICCAs (yes, the competition from Pitch Perfect) since the group was formed! In 2021, we came 3rd in the UK National Finals, winning awards for our outstanding choreography. Take a look at our winning video – https://youtu.be/axKUcd-C7x4
• Our first EP, ‘Purple Reign’, was released in 2019 – take a listen to it here or below; it’s available for streaming and download on all major streaming platforms!
• We also busk occasionally to help raise money for various projects throughout the year!
• This year, we put on a 5 STAR SOLD OUT show at Edinburgh Fringe called ‘Aca-Villa: the love island musical’.

Rehearsals:

• Sunday 4-7pm in AR5 (in the SU)
